Terms of Use
Last updated: October 27, 2026.
Agreement
By using KeyProof (getkeyproof.com) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What KeyProof provides
KeyProof provides information (guides based on publicly available exchange and wallet documentation) and client-side software (a signature verifier and a proof-record generator). KeyProof is not a cryptocurrency exchange, wallet, custodian, money transmitter, broker, investment adviser or law firm.
No keys, no custody
You must never enter a seed phrase, recovery words or a private key into KeyProof. We will never ask for them. You remain solely responsible for your wallets and funds.
Not advice
Nothing on KeyProof is legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Exchange rules and regulations change. Always follow the instructions your exchange shows you, and get professional advice when you need it. A "valid" signature in our verifier means only that the cryptography checks out; it does not guarantee any exchange will accept the proof.
Accuracy
We research from official sources and cite them. Guides can still be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Use them at your own risk.
Accounts and payment
Paid plans and user accounts are not available yet. Nothing on the site will charge a card or collect payment details today. If Pro launches later, prices and billing terms will be shown on the Pricing page before any paid plan is offered.
Acceptable use
Do not use KeyProof to break the law, to attack the service, to scrape it aggressively, or to pretend to be affiliated with an exchange or wallet.
Intellectual property
The KeyProof name, site design and original content are ours. Exchange and wallet names and logos are their owners' property and appear only for identification. Third-party documentation remains with its authors; our use is for commentary and user education.
Disclaimer of warranties
KeyProof is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, KeyProof and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-funds damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if you paid nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we revise them.
